Position Summary
Independently leads client strategy and service on the largest and most complex clients across the company a typical client generates over $100k in annualized revenue. Clients are often self-funded with 500 enrolled EEs.
Creates multiple opportunities to engage and diagnose highly complex needs proactively and determines strategic direction to meet the clients evolving needs and sells all of World. Participates in internal and external events conferences and seminarsevents including engaging audience as speaker on industry topics and best practices.
Assigned book is between $1.5M to $5M in EB revenue.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead clients through the development of a multiyear strategic plan that includes industry leading solutions and program recommendations.
Lead with expert knowledge and input on benefit plan design strategy rate analysis RFP process carrier negotiations and carrier contract reviews.
Present financial story around plan performance through dashboards benchmark and stewardship reporting providing actionable insights and recommendations.
Develop and lead carrier and vendor implementation project plans
Oversee development and preparation of OE/Benefit communications materials and BenAdmin Technology where applicable
Develop and execute Annual Service Plan; lead client touch points project manage key initiatives and tasks with junior colleagues and assigned SME resources track open items and deliver notes to client (includes compliance needs including 5500 filing Medicare Part D Disclosures Reporting HIPAA ERISA COBRA)
Engage with clients to educate on market trends carrier and vendors solutions EB SME and World capabilities (not just day-to-day service)
Manage vendor/carrier performance and escalated service issues
Finalize and deliver Stewardship report and messaging
Work Experience Knowledge Skills and Abilities (Expert)
Plan design (e.g. VBD RBP PBM) underwriting funding concepts and external third-party products/solutions beyond traditional insurance products.
Carrier negotiations with clients with large and highly complex clients
Executive presence with polished communication/presentation skills with the ability to influence key decision makers.
Project planning and management around renewal. carrier implementation open enrollment vendor implementation etc.
Word Excel and Power Point. Can analyze data using advance formulas create charts and graphs and use templates and design elements effectively.
EB large market / self-funded analytics tools models and capabilities.
People Management
May act as Team Lead to client service delivery colleagues.
Acts as a mentor demonstrates leadership attributes shares expertise. May plan assign monitor and review progress and accuracy of work evaluating results of and the work of others. May contribute to the selection training and evaluation of others.

Bachelors degree preferred but equivalentwork experience would be considered
Physical Demands Office work involves working at a desk most of the time using a stand-up/sit-down adjustable desk. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects. Typing grasping and repetitive motion typically is required every day and walking and standing are required occasionally.
