PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The Office of Ethics and Compliance (OEC) is a part of the board area of SAPs Office of the CEO(OCEO) and the Group Chief Compliance Officer (GCCO) and Head of OEC Vivianne Gordon-Pullarreports directly to SAP CEO Christian Klein as well as the Audit Committee of the Supervisory mission is to advance SAPs business goals by promoting a culture of integrity. OEC focuses onhelping SAP to Win the Right Way by providing the guidance and training that enables employees toreject bribery corruption and fraud. OEC helps to protect SAPs business by mitigating the risks ofnon-compliance and this includes investigating all instances of potential or suspected bribery corruption or substantial role of Regional Investigations Manager for North America & Latin America (NA/LATAM) will report to the Global Head of Investigations who reports to the GCCO. TheRegional Investigations Manager NA/LATAM will actively work towards ensuring operationalexcellence e. g. Senior Management reporting process improvements and strive for qualityconcerning investigations in the area of but not limited to substantial fraud bribery and corruption and will work closely with the regional Field Compliance Officers the other investigations regionsteams their managers and the entire OEC team as well as external counsel conducting investigationsat OECs direction.

EDUCTION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelors or Masters degree or equivalent education
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting and managing complex compliance-relatedcorporate investigations
  • Demonstrated experience in managing regional or global portfolio of corporateinvestigations including multi-jurisdictional investigations
  • Strong grasp of a corporate code of conduct business ethics policies and current compliancepractices
  • Outstanding writing and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex issues
  • Substantial experience in managing international diverse and virtual teams with sensitivityto cultural differences is desirable
  • Excellent collaboration skills
  • Fluency in English is imperative; fluency in Portuguese or Spanish is also imperative.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Conducts leads and supervises complex and comprehensive investigations into briberycorruption and significant fraudulent activity.
  • Monitors and supervises the NA/LATAM team
  • Responsible for all region-related investigation matters and special tasks.
  • Executes all management responsibilities and people management tasks for his/her area.
  • Builds strategic partnerships with key decision makers internally and externally in the regionand globally.
  • Responsible for all operation-related matters per area of responsibility.
  • Investigation plan review and investigation assignments per area of responsibility.
  • Overall accountability of quality assurance and timelines per area of responsibility especiallyfor investigation reports and keeping the case management system up to date oninvestigations.
  • Provides advice and supports in investigations and team specific areas as needed.
  • Interacts communicates and cooperates with internal and external parties and providesadvice and support in specific areas as needed; and executes functional and businessstrategies.
  • Provides timely responses to requests for information from the Investigations OperationsTeam.
  • Promotes the process identifying and documenting root causes contributing to theunderlying misconduct and reporting such to relevant stakeholders.

You report to the GlobalCompliance Officer - Head of Investigations.

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • At least 5 years of work experience in legal and/ or compliance organizations
  • Solid investigation experience including deep end-to-end knowledge of investigativeprocesses and techniques
  • Legal experience a plus
  • CFE certification a plus
