Who You Are
You are a hands-on HR person with expertise in HR administration and employee relations. You take ownership of projects love people and thrive in fast-paced start-up environments. As a manager within a small but growing HR team you provide structure direction and support while ensuring smooth operations.
What Youll Do
Manage the Identità & Jobsplus processes ensuring that all work permit and visa applications are managed effectively and in full compliance with Maltese regulations.
Manage the drafting review and execution of employment contracts particularly for employees across subsidiaries ensuring all terms align with legal and company standards.
Drive the efficient onboarding process coordinating with relevant departments to ensure new employees are smoothly integrated into the organization and fully equipped for success.
Implement and manage the performance appraisal system working closely with department heads to ensure alignment with business goals and employee development.
Ensure that all HR practices and processes comply with Maltese Labor laws and organizational policies with a strong emphasis on maintaining
accurate records and efficient workflows.
Serve as a trusted point of contact for all HR-related queries providing guidance on policy and practices while ensuring a positive working environment.
What You Bring
5 years of experience in HR administration compliance and performance management.
Experience working in international companies or businesses that entail subsidiaries.
Deep knowledge of Maltese labor laws and work permit procedures.
Hands-on experience managing HR policies contracts and performance review processes.
Experience with HR software (BambooHR Indigo or Shireburn is a plus).
Familiarity with Basecamp for project and workflow management is an advantage
