Job Summary

Position Title: Account Manager

Timings: 3:00pm - 12:00am

Location: Ikonic Plot # 176 Korang Road near Rahat Bakers I-10/3 Islamabad

Position Purpose:

We are seeking a highly driven and technically sound Account Manager to lead client acquisition pre-sales activities and end-to-end project coordination. This role requires a strategic communicator who can engage clients understand their technical needs craft tailored software solutions and ensure smooth project delivery from inception to completion.

You will act as the primary point of contact for clients guiding them through requirement discussions proposal creation deal closure and early-stage project management.

Education and Professional Qualification:

  • Bachelor or equivalent degree from a reputed educational Institute preferably in computer programming computer sciencesoftware engineering or a related field.
  • Certification(s): Not mandatory but certification in a relevant field is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Client Acquisition & Closing

  • Engage with incoming leads Upwork inquiries and direct prospects to understand their needs and propose suitable solutions.
  • Manage pre-closing communications including requirement discussions budget finalization and scope negotiation.
  • Build trust with clients by addressing concerns demonstrating capability and ensuring transparent communication.
  • Maintain strong follow-up until closure and ensure proper documentation of all opportunities.
  • Collaborate with management to finalize pricing scope and profitability.

Pre-Sales & Proposal Management

  • Lead requirement-gathering sessions asking detailed technical and functional questions.
  • Translate business requirements into well-structured technical scopes deliverables and timelines.
  • Collaborate with technical design and project teams to prepare proposals estimations and solution blueprints.
  • Prepare and deliver technical/commercial proposals presentations and RFP/RFQ responses.
  • Participate in demos technical discussions and solution presentations when needed.

Project Coordination & Delivery Alignment

  • Act as the initial project manager post-closure until handover to delivery teams.
  • Coordinate internally to ensure requirement clarity feasibility and timely execution.
  • Track milestones manage client updates and ensure alignment with agreed scope and timelines.
  • Identify risks delays or scope creep early and ensure proactive communication with clients.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation including project briefs communication logs and task sheets.

Client Relationshhip Management

  • Serve as the primary client contact throughout the engagement lifecycle.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within new and existing accounts.
  • Build long-term client relationships while ensuring satisfaction and retention.

Reporting & Strategy

  • Maintain accurate CRM records of leads opportunities proposals and active projects.
  • Provide weekly status reports on pipeline client feedback and delivery progress.
  • Identify recurring client demands and suggest improvements in service offerings pricing or processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science Software Engineering IT or a related field.
  • 3 years in a pre-sales client coordination or technical consulting role ideally within a software consultancy or product development team.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and solution architecture. Hands-on experience with modern tech stacks such as MERN Laravel & mobile frameworks.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices cloud infrastructure (AWS Azure GCP) and AI-based solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills able to bridge technical and business discussions effectively.
  • Proven proposal writing documentation and estimation abilities. Experience managing enterprise clients and engaging multiple stakeholders in complex sales cycles.
  • Prior experience with Artificial Intelligence as developer or project coordinator at any level is plus.
