Shangri-La Hotel Colombo overlooks the Indian Ocean in the heart of the business district with direct access to the most extensive international shopping mall in Sri Lanka Shangri-Las own One Galle Face Mall. The hotel offers the finest accommodation in Colombo an exciting new dining and social scene and the largest and extensive hotel conference and event facilities. The hotel comprises of 541 rooms and suites.
As the Spa & Recreation Manager we rely on you to manage all spa and recreation operations guide the team and ensure guests enjoy safe refreshing and exceptional wellness experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all spa and wellness operations ensuring high-quality treatments guest comfort and strict hygiene standards.
- Manage recreation facilities such as the pool gym and activity areas ensuring safety cleanliness and smooth daily operations.
- Develop and implement wellness and recreational programs to enhance guest experience and engagement.
- Lead train and motivate the spa and recreation team ensuring consistent service excellence and professional growth.
- Drive financial performance through budgeting revenue forecasting promotions and effective cost control.
- Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by handling feedback personalizing services and maintaining a warm professional environment.
About You:
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to guide a multicultural team.
- Minimum 35 years of experience in spa or recreation management in a luxury hotel or wellness environment.
- Recognized qualification in Spa Management Wellness Therapy Hospitality Management or Fitness Training.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and revenue targets.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
