Sr. Specialist, Strategic Sourcing

General Summary: Under limited supervision handles purchasing responsibilities for the organization. Procures services materials and equipment required for operations. Reviews requisition communicates with vendors evaluates bids and initiates contracts. Applies solid knowledge of products services and sources to ensure purchases and contracts meet quality standards and defined requirements.

How You will help us connect the world.

• Support the procurement of indirect services with responsibility for leading the Supplier Selection Process (where required) and for negotiating contracts with suppliers where appropriate in line with various company policies and procedures.
• Ensure all requirements and capabilities are considered before deciding to procure services from a particular vendor. Ensure that all procurements are based on competitive bids as submitted by qualified suppliers.
• Ensure that all contracts are input to the contract database and are managed in a timely manner.
• Maintain positive working relationship with supplier base as well as internal customers. Align and support the Functional strategy.
• Negotiate contracts for Services needed inside the entire organization
• Where applicable refer to the Companys Schedule of Authority in order to identify approved spending

Required Qualification for Consideration.

• Bachelors or masters degree with 10 years of relevant procurement experience.
• Extensive knowledge of the procurement of Indirect Services.
• Has experience in managing and executing Indirect Procurement Contracts.
• Successfully demonstrated negotiation skills.
• Including demonstrated competencies and physical mental & interpersonal skills.
