Job Summary

Naumi Wellington is offering an incredible opportunity for an experienced Conference and Events Sales Manager to join the team in this dynamic position. Naumi Wellington is two hotels in one location in the heart of Cuba Street. Naumi Studio Wellington is an iconic heritage landmark with 116 rooms and Naumi Wellington recently renovated boasts 62 large Suites. Both hotels are a visual feast for the senses. The hotels share a large conference space which fits up to 250 delegates. Other eclectic spaces include the Parlour and Lola Rouge restaurant and bar.

The Role:

Reporting into the Sales Manager Wellington and working closely with Food and Beverage Kitchen brigade and hotel operational teams your role will focus on bringing in new business & clients and the organization of corporate events weddings and social & special functions.

This role requires strong administration relationship building selling and organization skills. We are a highly motivated and hardworking team.

Key responsibilities and tasks consist of but are not limited to

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets for conference and events bookings
  • Pro-actively follow up on leads and enquiries to develop business
  • Build strong relationships with guests and patrons and deal with any feedback
  • Provide excellent customer service promptly addressing enquiries and concerns.
  • Ensure the administration (including but not limited to Quotations Invoicing Event Sheets) and execution of all planned events
  • Open communication with food and beverage and kitchen to provide accurate information for a smooth handover of functions from sales to operations.
