We are seeking a Field Competence Development Manager to lead technical and safety training initiatives that empower our field teams to deliver excellence. This is a strategic role where youll combine data-driven insights with innovative learning solutions to ensure our workforce is skilled safe and future-ready.

What will you be doing

  • Drive operational excellence in field competence development through data analytics and KPIs
  • Manage Training Centers and optimise their utilisation to deliver impactful learning experiences
  • Lead and develop an Australian and New Zealand network of full-time and part-time field trainers
  • Partner with business stakeholders to design and implement continuous development strategies
  • Evaluate training effectiveness using quantitative and qualitative data
  • Oversee onboarding and technical training plans for new field employees
  • Ensure compliance with global learning standards and contribute to field maturity assessments

What Were Looking For

  • 57 years experience in Learning & Development within a technical or field context
  • Qualifications in engineering safety technical or behavioral science preferred
  • Experience leading a team of Learning & Development or Field Trainers
  • Expertise in technical training training center management and apprenticeship programs.
  • Strong communication leadership and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of education principles mentoring and Learning Management Systems.
