Performance Objectives for Year One:

Strategic Leadership & Governance: Within the first 90 days audit and take ownership of the enterprise-wide testing policy. Lead the strategy to align testing protocols with the Head of Applications to ensure zero-defect delivery on mission-critical updates.
Regulatory Compliance Assurance: Successfully manage the testing lifecycle for all regulatory compliance projects (PASA/SARB mandates) ensuring 100% adherence to external stakeholder requirements without delaying release cycles.
Automation & Modernization: Lead the architectural transition from manual-heavy processes to a modern automated testing framework (using tools like Selenium/JMeter) to improve regression testing speed and coverage by the end of year one.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Establish a robust communication framework between Business Unit Heads Technical Managers and external vendors to streamline the idea-to-deployment flow reducing friction in the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase.
