Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Analytics Manager to join our team in Johannesburg South Africa. As the Analytics Manager you will lead our data analytics initiatives driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will be responsible for managing a team of analysts developing analytics strategies and delivering actionable insights to support business growth.
- Develop and implement data analytics strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Lead and mentor a team of data analysts fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
- Design and oversee the execution of complex data analysis projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and translate them into analytical solutions
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate insights effectively
- Implement best practices for data governance quality and security
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data analytics
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Drive the adoption of advanced analytics techniques including predictive modeling and machine learning
- Ensure the teams analytics outputs meet high standards of accuracy and reliability
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Statistics Mathematics Computer Science or related field.
Experience:
- 5 years of experience in data analytics or related field
- 2 years experience in Workforce Management is required.
- 2 years of experience in a leadership role
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL Python and R
- Expertise in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Strong statistical analysis skills and understanding of machine learning techniques
- Excellent project management abilities and attention to detail
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Experience with business intelligence and data warehousing concepts
- Ability to translate complex analytical findings into actionable business insights
- Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking capabilities
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
