Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Senior Director North America AMS Operations is responsible for leading execution of onboarding and daily management of all AMS services. The functions include onboarding cash operations device management and monitoring/support for Field Operations. To perform this job successfully an individual must think strategically demonstrate enthusiasm for customers and be able to solve problems. He/She must also be accepting of a changing environment and be constantly looking to influence the future of the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:
Build and maintain a deep understanding of our customers business processes and technology across the ATM value chain. The technology will include PAI reports Brinks Insight Center transaction processing systems OEM terminal software OEM remote device management systems lock systems and field technology.
Become lean certified lead and/or support various process improvement projects VSM A3s etc.
Lead and develop a team capable of enabling a key growth segment with a customer first mindset.
Act as leader within North America Management team engaging with Global Leadership Commercial and Functional partners to learn about broader company initiatives and to report on AMS progress.
Manage against customer and internal quality metrics while meeting or exceeding annual cost efficiency targets.
Develop budget plans and strategic goals to drive optimal performance across the group and to lead with close adherence to Brinks values including continuous improvement
Lead the cash operations team ensuring diligence to avoid cash related customer impacting issues with advanced forecasting scheduling and monitoring processes.
Manage cash reconciliation processes including terminal balancing inventory control cash in circulation optimization dark terminals and settlement balancing. Ensure losses are reported for accurate monthly accounting.
Lead device management team (NA and supported Global AMS) to ensure timely triage dispatch and resolution with consideration for uptime targets and costs
Drive onboarding with flexible resourcing structure that enables new business to get onboarded in a timely fashion. Support Global PMO for cross functional projects (customer and other) that they will provide planning and governance support for. Ensure compliance with SOX and other regulations as new customers are vetted and billing rules are implemented.
Manage vendor contracts for market specific partners and lead vendor performance management for all services in the North American Market.
Drive roadmap to increase automation and reduce cost per ATM to enable the business to scale and help Brinks to compete better from a cost and quality perspective.
Lead risk management for AMS for various threat vectors including physical attacks fraudulent events jackpotting skimming processor spooking etc
Partner with Global Operations leaders to adopt optimal operating models aligning and executing on improvement projects. These would include chronic failure analysis technician quality metrics parts optimization first time fix MTBF (meantime between failure) and response time improvements.
Provide monthly reporting on department progress KPIs and improvement plans
Provide other support for strategic projects as needed.
