Job Summary

The Director of Food & Beverage at Raffles Jakarta is a visionary hospitality leader responsible for shaping and delivering an exceptional culinary and service journey across all outlets including restaurants bars banquets and in-room dining. This role requires a balance of operational excellence commercial acumen and people-centered leadership ensuring that every guest experience reflects warmth sophistication and the timeless elegance of the Raffles brand. The Director will inspire and develop teams implement robust operating standards drive business performance through innovative concepts and strategic revenue management and uphold the highest levels of food safety hygiene and service quality. With a global perspective and sensitivity to local culture the successful candidate will leverage data insights and modern technology to enhance operational efficiency foster a culture of belonging and growth and position Raffles Jakarta as a preferred destination for both hotel guests and the local community.


Qualifications :

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Business Administration or a related field; advanced certifications or training in Food & Beverage Culinary Arts or Luxury Hospitality Management are an advantage.
     
  • F&B Leadership Experience: Extensive senior leadership experience in Food & Beverage operations within upscale or luxury hotels or resorts managing complex multi-outlet operations and large diverse teams.
     
  • Operational and Service Excellence: Proven track record in implementing service rituals SOPs quality standards and operational processes aligned with luxury hospitality expectations.
     
  • Culinary and Beverage Expertise: Deep passion and knowledge of culinary arts beverage programs and refined service standards with the ability to inspire and elevate team performance.
     
  • Commercial and Strategic Acumen: Strong understanding of market trends revenue management pricing strategies and financial stewardship to drive profitable business performance.
     
  • Global Perspective with Local Sensitivity: Experience working in international hospitality environments cross-cultural teams or global luxury brands with the ability to adapt best practices to local culture and guest expectations.
     
  • Digital Fluency and Innovation: Proficiency in hospitality technologies productivity tools and digital platforms with curiosity and adaptability in leveraging digital innovation including AI applications to enhance efficiency and guest experiences.
     
  • Team Leadership and Development: Ability to inspire mentor and develop teams fostering a culture of belonging growth and accountability.
     
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Indonesian; additional languages are an advantage. Able to collaborate effectively across departments and with stakeholders.
     
  • Analytical and Data-Informed Decision-Making: Strong analytical skills to interpret financial results operational KPIs guest feedback and reputation metrics translating insights into actionable strategies.
     
  • Professionalism and Integrity: Demonstrates humility emotional intelligence authenticity and ethical leadership.
     
  • Work Eligibility: Legally eligible to work in Indonesia.
