A creative and forward-thinking mixed secondary school in Lambeth is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Design & Technology Technician to support their expanding DT Department from January.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare materials equipment and machinery for lessons and practical sessions.
Maintain and repair workshop tools and ensure safe operation of machinery.
Support teachers during practical demonstrations and project work.
Order stock manage resources and maintain a well-organised prep environment.
Uphold all health & safety policies including COSHH and risk assessments.
Requirements
Experience working in a DT workshop or technical environment.
Knowledge of machinery such as saws drills 3D printers and laser cutters.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
A commitment to maintaining a safe creative and engaging learning space.
