About the Role
Were looking for a Payments and Card Fraud SME to support one of our clients. This professional will bring expert knowledge in payment systems and fraud prevention and act as a consultant helping design solutions to reduce and manage fraud in a highly regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in payments and card fraud prevention.
Provide consultancy support and guidance on fraud risk across payment platforms.
Collaborate with product and technology teams to design fraud prevention solutions.
Conduct gap analysis and help define target operating models.
Engage with stakeholders to ensure the proposed solutions meet regulatory and operational needs.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Fraud SME in financial services.
Deep knowledge of card payments payment fraud risks and industry best practices.
Experience working with UK financial institutions and compliance frameworks.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Availability to work in a consulting environment and adapt to different teams quickly.

Location: Burnley Hybrid (12 visits every few weeks) or remote.
