As a Locum MD in Emergency Medicine you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical care in emergency situations. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care
- Stabilize and transport patients as necessary
- Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately
- Participate in continuous education and training initiatives
- Adhere to all medical protocols and guidelines
- Respond to emergencies promptly and efficiently
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Valid medical license to practice in the relevant state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions
- Team player with a commitment to patient-centered care
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in emergency medicine is a plus (not mandatory)
Flexible Schedule: 7a-7p 7p-7a or 24-hour shifts available
No call requirement
Level IV Trauma
5 ER beds
Annual Volume: 5500 patients
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
