This contract position is on-site and offers a fantastic opportunity for healthcare professionals looking to make a significant impact in a vibrant medical practice environment.
As a Locum Primary Care Physician you will provide high-quality patient care conducting examinations diagnosing conditions and formulating treatment plans. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management and continuity of care. This role is essential in helping our practice meet the healthcare needs of the community while maintaining our commitment to excellence in patient service.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients
- Conduct physical examinations and assess patients health
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Formulate and implement patient care plans
- Prescribe medications and therapies as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice
- Stay current with medical advancements and best practices
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Current medical license to practice in the state of Massachusetts
- Experience in primary care or family medicine
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Knowledge of electronic medical record systems
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
Setting: Outpatient
Patient Census: 18 per day 70 per week
Patient Population: Adults
1:1 MA support
Onsite psychiatrist psychologist and social worker
EMR: Epic
Dictation: Dragon
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
