As a Locum Primary Care Physician you will provide high-quality patient care conducting examinations diagnosing conditions and formulating treatment plans. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients
- Conduct physical examinations and assess patients health
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Formulate and implement patient care plans
- Prescribe medications and therapies as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice
- Stay current with medical advancements and best practices
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Current medical license to practice in the state of Massachusetts
- Experience in primary care or family medicine
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Knowledge of electronic medical record systems
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
Setting: Outpatient
Patient Census: 18 per day 70 per week
Patient Population: Adults
1:1 MA support
Onsite psychiatrist psychologist and social worker
EMR: Epic
Dictation: Dragon
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
