WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

As aSeniorSoftware Engineer you will become part of the Valuation & Market Data product area withinSimCorpsProduct Division responsible for delivering functionality that enables clients to make investment decisions with our back-office applications.

The Valuation & Market Data product area consists of four teams spread across several geographical locations.

You will contribute across all stages ofthe development lifecycle including creating anddefininguser stories designing coding testing writing automated tests performing code reviews and providingcustomersupport.

The ideal candidate should haveC#expertise a passion for delivering high-quality scalable software and an eagerness to learnAPL(A Programming Language). Prior experience with APLisntrequiredwe provide comprehensive training and a supportive environment to help you gain the areamostdevelopment is done using APL with occasional C# tasks.Our company also partly ownsDyalogAPL ensuring the languageremainsactively maintained and relevant

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

You will be using multiple technologies and your responsibilities will also include:

• Working with a team of software engineers in the design development and maintenance of software applicationsand sometimes even manual testing.

• Design and implement robust and efficient APL and C# code(occasionally)

• Working with product management to refine new features

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define software requirements

• Developing core functionality to support the business modules

• Ensuring software quality through comprehensive testing and validation

• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices

• Writing andmaintainingunit tests to ensure software quality and reliability

• Maintaining the existing code base

• Constantly learning and developing yourself and our product

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We expect you to be good at several of the following and be able to - and interested in - learning the rest.

• 3 5 years ofexperience insoftware development.

• Advanced knowledge of C# .NET Core/Framework and object-oriented design principles.

• Bachelors or Masters degree inComputer Science ITor any other academic degree with an interest in software development

• Proficiency in English written as well as spoken as English is our corporate language

• A high sense of quality ability to work to deadlines attention to detail and focusing on delivering a sound solution

• Genuine willingness to learn and to dig into unknown areas

• A commitment to constantly deliver value to the clients to improve yourself and the team

• You are interested and able to work with complex architecture

• Understanding Agile practices values and principles allow you to better understand how we work

• Effective communication and collaboration skills
