Unit Overview
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive foot and ankle care in outpatient and inpatient settings including surgery when indicated.
- Participate in diabetic foot management wound care and limb salvage initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with orthopaedics endocrinology infectious disease and wound care teams.
- Provide clinical education to medical trainees and APPs.
- Participate in podiatric call coverage and quality initiatives within the department.
Short Description
Cooper University Health Care is seeking a board-certified or board-qualified Podiatrist to join our Orthopaedic and Podiatric Surgery Division. The ideal candidate will have clinical experience managing complex foot and ankle pathology wound care diabetic limb salvage and forefoot/rearfoot surgery.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in South Jerseys only Level I Trauma Center providing care to a diverse patient population alongside orthopaedic surgeons vascular surgeons plastic surgeons and wound care specialists.

License/Certification Requirements
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited school of podiatric medicine.
- Completion of a CPME-accredited podiatric residency (minimum 3 years).
- Board certified or eligible by ABPM or ABFAS.
- New Jersey medical license (or eligibility).
- Experience with hospital-based wound care or limb preservation is a plus.
- Commitment to collaborative care and patient safety.
