Job Summary

Delivery Manager SRE

The Legal Service Management group is seeking a Delivery Manager to join our team in Eagan Minnesota. This position leads a global technology team that operates enterprise application systems serving Thomson Reuters flagship products. The team manages site reliability engineering (SRE) change planning and implementation incident detection and resolution and compliance for a portfolio of customer-facing applications and infrastructure built on technologies including Java Linux Python AWS PostgreSQL and Redis.

About the Role

As a Delivery Manager SRE you will:

Deliver Results:

  • Ensure reliable 24x7 infrastructure and application operations meeting business expectations across the application portfolio

  • Serve as the management escalation point during major incidents

  • Partner with application development teams to deliver operational readiness for new products and features

  • Collaborate with stakeholdersincluding business teams product owners and project managersto define the roadmap for applications and processes

  • Partner with security cloud platform and service governance teams to ensure compliance with internal and external standards and certifications

  • Articulate complex problems concepts and solutions effectively to diverse audiences

  • Drive continuous improvements in productivity software quality and reliability

Be a People Leader:

  • Manage a diverse global team of application reliability infrastructure and operations engineers

  • Deliver effective talent management practices and optimize talent utilization across the portfolio

  • Coach and mentor current and future leaders; proactively identify training and growth opportunities

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and curiosity about emerging technologies

About You

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent required (Computer Science or related technical degree preferred)

  • 5 years of experience in software development and/or technology infrastructure and operations

  • Proven ability to set direction and inspire teams to deliver on a shared vision

  • Strong understanding of technologies used to build and operate distributed application systems

  • Experience managing cloud systems and infrastructure

  • Excellent communication presentation and collaborative problem-solving skills

  • Collaborative energetic results-oriented leadership style

  • Hands-on experience with programming and scripting languages

  • Thrives in fast-paced environments with complex technical and business challenges

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. For any eligible US locations unless otherwise noted the base compensation range for this role is $116900 - $217100. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individuals knowledge skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
