As a Curriculum Coordinator with The Menta Group you will be responsible for academic programming and oversight of special education compliance.

Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to teaching staff assistants and aides on the instruction of students with disabilities in academic subjects.
- Develop and implement technology-based learning
- Collaborate with teaching staff on the development and update of IEP goals and progress for students on assigned caseload.
- Monitor credits and courses required for graduation for students; Support teaching staff in preparing assignments grading assignments and preparing reports.
- In collaboration with administration maintain all student transcripts graduation analysis documents and progress reports.
- Coordinate and communicate with other staff members in order to ensure consistent application of the academic and therapeutic program.
Qualifications
- Current PEL (Professional Educator License) with LBS1 Endorsement
- Curriculum & Instruction Endorsement on the PEL preferred but not required
- Extensive knowledge of IEP Writing and Process
- Knowledge of Think Cerca Myon and/or MobyMax is ideal
- Ability to coach and lead educational staff
- A strong background in Special Education including but not limited to cognitive & LD Autism BD ED and OHI
- Experience in PBIS and trauma-informed programming is a plus
- Excellent organization time management and follow-up skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to speak and write clearly and persuasively
- Exceptional problem-solving critical thinking and strategic planning skills
- Ability to multitask
