Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the General Manager and hotel leadership team to support financial strategy performance and decision-making

  • Deliver accurate and timely weekly monthly and annual financial reporting to Accor and ownership groups

  • Lead budgeting forecasting cash flow management and financial planning processes

  • Oversee payroll operations ensuring accuracy compliance and alignment with legislative requirements

  • Provide financial guidance on Management Agreements Owners Corporation matters and HMA compliance

  • Drive continuous improvement across financial systems controls policies and reporting processes

  • Support department heads with financial analysis reporting and commercial insights to improve profitability

  • Ensure compliance with Accor financial policies and all relevant statutory and legislative requirements


Qualifications :

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting Finance Commerce or a related discipline

  • CA or CPA qualification

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Financial Controller ideally within a hotel or hospitality environment

  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards compliance obligations and statutory reporting

  • Proficiency in accounting and payroll systems; experience with Zambion PurchasePlus and SunSystems is highly regarded

  • Sound understanding of taxation superannuation long service leave and National Employment Standards

  • High attention to detail strong commercial mindset and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
