Help us achieve best-in-class consumer underwriting by identifying and addressing gaps in our understanding of risks pricing effectiveness and oversight capabilities. As an Underwriting Specialist youll play a key role in developing data-driven recommendations and delivering solutions aligned with our underwriting principles: transparency fairness alignment across the value chain and agility.
What Youll Do
- Analyse underwriting data and processes to identify risks and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design agile solutions that meet regulatory and customer expectations
- Document current and future state processes driving governance and compliance uplift including DDO
- Coordinate delivery of strategic initiatives ensuring timely execution and quality outcomes
- Support the design and implementation of improved underwriting frameworks aligned to industry standards
What Youll Bring
- Proven experience in financial services ideally general insurance with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to synthesise complex information and translate it into actionable insights
- Experience in project delivery using Agile Lean or waterfall methodologies
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills to influence and collaborate effectively
- Familiarity with risk management practices and governance frameworks
