Senior Manager - Finance Controller

Position Title: Senior Manager - Controller
Indicative Level: Senior Management
Function: Finance & Accounts
Reports to: CFO
Team Size: 2 to 3
POSITION SUMMARY
This position requires a strategic thinker who will partner with the senior leadership in creating business plans to improve business processes that can maximize revenue generation cost efficiency and profitability across segments. Other responsibilities include budgeting treasury management and raising finance
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Budgeting Forecasting & MIS:
Lead the development of the annual budget in collaboration with department heads and senior management.
Provide financial forecasting to guide strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
Track financial performance against the budget present MIS on month-on-month basis advise management on variances trends and lead path on corrective actions.
Cash Flow & Working Capital Management:
Effective treasury operations ensuring optimal use of working capital and compliance with policy
Work with business to ensure Inventories as per budgeted plan
Cash flow management to ensure sufficient liquidity for daily operations capital expenditures and financial obligations.
Coordinate with banks and financial institutions to manage financing options including credit facilities and investments.
Cost Management and Financial Analysis:
Monitor and control Gross margins of Business
Conduct cost-benefit analysis and recommend strategies for improving operational efficiency and profitability.
Analyse variances between actual and expected performance and advise the management team on corrective actions.
Business Partnering
Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for long-term strategic planning.
Support decision-making related to investments expansion and cost-reduction strategies.
Work closely with the CFO to develop financial strategies that align with the companys overall goals.
Support technology-driven initiatives and digital transformation in finance.
Team management & Stake Holder Management
Coach and mentor the team members
Conduct regular team meetings to guide team members on departmental issues in order to build a high performing and motivated team
Continuous engagement with Internal and external stakeholders for collaborating on key strategic initiatives and activities such as Internal Audit Business Vertical Finance taxation Bankers Legal Counsels etc .
