As a key player in our staffing and recruiting efforts you will be at the forefront of ensuring that our clients receive exceptional healthcare services.
In this role you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care collaborating with medical staff and contributing to the overall efficiency of hospital operations. Your expertise will help shape patient outcomes and drive improvements in clinical practices.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Participate in hospital rounds and case discussions
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatments
- Adhere to hospital protocols and guidelines for patient care
- Assist in training and mentoring junior medical staff
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Current board certification in Internal Medicine
- Valid medical license to practice in Texas
- Experience in a hospitalist role preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and priorities
Schedule: 12-hour day night or weekend shifts
Rotating call
Must be board-certified ABIM or ABFM
