We are hiring Staff Nurse - Theatre; Anaesthetics and PACU into a Hospital in Dublin Ireland.
- Participate as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team facilitating and delivering high-quality patient care through efficient use of time and resources.
- Demonstrate professional leadership and clinical expertise advancing nursing practice in line with NMBI guidelines.
Participate in ongoing professional development within Anaesthetics PACU and Theatre adapting to evolving service demands and clinical advancements.
Communicate effectively with the Clinical Coordinator and other team members providing support and ensuring seamless coordination of care.
Ensure the safe operation of equipment and maintenance of adequate supplies within an efficiently organised clinical environment.
Assess individual patient needs plan and implement care and ensure documentation is completed accurately professionally and promptly.
Promote a safe clinical environment by adhering to infection prevention and control standards including the use of protective barriers and proper waste disposal.
Maintain positive interdepartmental relationships collaborating closely with physicians patients families and other care providers to optimise outcomes.
Act as a preceptor and mentor for students and newly appointed staff supporting induction supervision and continuous learning within the department.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives staff education and performance reviews maintaining flexibility to support other departments as needed.
Requirements
- NMBI Registered General Nurse licence.
- Hold valid BLS and ACLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting.
- A management course is desirable.
- Demonstrate proven clinical competence excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.
