Job Description

What you will be doing: Radiology Technologist

  • Perform imaging examinations according to physicians orders.
  • Utilize a variety of sophisticated imaging equipment.
  • Consider individual patients unique and/or age-related needs.
  • Use clinical knowledge and judgment regarding proper positioning factors.
  • Calibrate radiation dose technique and patient treatment to produce optimal high-quality images.
  • Ensure all examinations are conducted with minimal radiation exposure to patient and operator with ALARA awareness.

Experience you will need: Radiology Technologist

  • Education to meet certification license or registration requirements.
  • Oregon Radiographer License upon hire or Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire.
  • National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire.
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
  • New graduates must have an OBMI temporary license and obtain a permanent license within 6 months of hire.
