permanent Progeny HR Solutions LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Technologist Lead to join our team in Bradenton FL. We are looking for a motivated individual who shares our passion for delivering exceptional patient care and has a strong background in laboratory this role the Medical Technologist Lead will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the laboratory including performing and supervising a variety of laboratory tests and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Medical Technology or a related field along with at least 5 years of experience working as a Medical Technologist. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage the daily operations of the laboratory including scheduling and assigning tasks to laboratory staff - Perform and supervise a variety of laboratory tests and procedures including but not limited to hematology chemistry microbiology and blood bank - Ensure accuracy and quality control of all laboratory testing and results - Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instruments - Train and mentor laboratory staff on new procedures and protocols - Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results - Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies - Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards - Participate in continuing education and stay updated on new technologies and advancements in the field Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Medical Technology or related field - Current certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) from a recognized accrediting agency - Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Medical Technologist - Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred - Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures equipment and instruments - Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Familiarity with laboratory information systems and electronic health records - Must be able to work flexible hours and on-call as needed We offer competitive salary and benefits packages as well as opportunities for career growth and development.
