• 8:00 AM 8:30 PM

• 3:00 PM 11:30 PM

• 10:30 AM 11:00 PM

Pay Rate: $55$58 per hour

Position Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic examinations with minimal supervision in a fast-paced acute care environment. This role supports multiple clinical areas including the Emergency Department Operating Room inpatient units and trauma services while ensuring patient safety image quality and compliance with departmental and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic examinations using proper patient positioning and technical factors

• Operate radiographic equipment for routine portable emergency operating room and trauma imaging

• Ensure radiation safety through appropriate shielding collimation and exposure control techniques

• Accurately identify label and process radiographic images

• Complete patient requisitions with required documentation and technical details

• Maintain a clean organized and compliant imaging environment

• Prepare contrast media and assist physicians during imaging procedures as needed

• Support administrative functions such as scheduling patient instructions and record maintenance

• Assist patients with mobility transfers and positioning

• Deliver patient-centered care that respects age cultural language and special needs

• Adhere to all organizational competencies policies and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program

• Completion of required clinical training with ARRT eligibility

• Active New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist License

• Eligibility to sit for and pass the ARRT National Registry Exam

• Minimum 2 years of acute care radiology experience

• Demonstrated ability to work independently in:

  • Emergency Department

  • Trauma imaging

  • Operating Room

  • Portable X-ray procedures

  • Pediatric imaging
