Position Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Technologist to join our team in Bradenton FL. The Medical Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to assist in the diagnosis treatment and prevention of diseases and other medical conditions. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct routine and complex laboratory tests and procedures including but not limited to chemistry hematology microbiology and blood banking - Prepare and analyze samples interpret results and report findings to healthcare providers - Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment troubleshoot issues and perform quality control checks - Follow established protocols and safety procedures to ensure accurate and reliable test results - Collaborate with healthcare providers and other laboratory staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of test results - Keep accurate records of all tests performed and maintain confidentiality of patient information - Stay current with new developments in laboratory technology and procedures and participate in continuing education and training opportunities - Adhere to all regulatory and accreditation standards including CLIA and OSHA guidelines Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Medical Technology or related field - Current certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) by a recognized credentialing agency such as ASCP or AMT - Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Medical Technologist in a clinical laboratory setting - Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures equipment and terminology - Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment - Familiarity with laboratory information systems and electronic medical records Benefits: - Competitive salary - Comprehensive benefits package including medical dental and vision insurance - 401(k) retirement plan with company match - Paid time off and holidays - Continuing education and training opportunities - Supportive and collaborative work environment If you are a dedicated and skilled Medical Technologist looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity we encourage you to apply for this position.
