Under the direction of a Radiologist the CT Technologist performs radiology and computed tomography procedures at a technical level requiring independent judgment and minimal supervision. This role requires ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation while maintaining a strong focus on patient-centered care and quality outcomes.
The CT Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures assumes responsibility for designated areas or protocols and consistently prioritizes patient safety and comfort. This position involves working with patients across the full age spectrum from neonate through geriatric populations while delivering accurate high-quality imaging services.
Schedule:
Multiple schedules may be available including days evenings nights and mixed shifts with weekend requirements depending on the selected schedule.
Compensation:
Hourly pay ranges from $27.42 to $36.95 based on years of experience.
Midpoint pay is approximately $33.59 for candidates with 10 years of experience.
A $20000 sign-on bonus is offered.
Relocation assistance may be available on a case-by-case basis.
Requirements
Experience:
- One year of CT experience preferred
- Acute care experience is not required
License:
- Active Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist license required
- ARRT Registered Radiographer (R) certification preferred
- ARRT CT (CT) registry certification preferred
Certifications and Timelines:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program required
