Judson ISD active High School Student enrolled in Media Independent Study or Media Technology II

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Responsible for the set-up technical operations and strike of events held at the Judson ISD D.W. Rutledge Stadium.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Certification Requirements

• Must be a Judson ISD active High School Student in the advanced Media Technology classes: Media Independent Study or Media Technology II

Special Knowledge and Skills

• Ability to set up and strike video cameras and production computers
• Ability to switch between cameras commercials fan prompts and other forms of digital media
• Ability to program cues patch and operate audio and video equipment

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Set up cameras
• Operate the V-Play and Pro Star computer software
• Pre-load and edit all media prepared for a football game or other event
• Pull cables edit photos create graphics and run rigging
• Clean cameras computers and responsible for inventory of equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned based on department needs
• Maintain a consistent professional demeanor and appearance
• Daily attendance and punctuality at work are essential functions of the job

Professional video cameras Venus 7000 and V-Play Software Technical Switching equipment

Video and Audio Recording

Mental Demands:

Ability to communicate (verbal and written) instruct read understand verbal instructions and maintain emotional control under stress work with frequent interruptions

Physical Demands:

Frequent: Sitting standing walking climbing stairs and/or ramps balancing stooping kneeling crouching crawling pulling pushing reaching repetitive hand motions hearing speaking clearly visual acuity distinguishing colors.

Environmental Factors:

Frequent exposure to: temperature extremes (hot and cold) humidity extremes noise low or intense illumination vibration.
