About the Role

As aCV/IR Technologist youll play a critical role in delivering exceptional care by performing advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
What Youll Do
Performs interventional peripheral/cardiac vascular or other specialized radiographic procedures under sterile technique in order to aid physicians in diagnosis and treatment of patients. Prepares examination area positions patients for procedures and operates complex radiographic equipment in accordance with established techniques and routines. Assists physicians as necessary by passing materials monitoring patient vital signs taking exposures as directed and optimizing images for review.
What Were Looking For
Education: Work requires the level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of two to three years of occupationally specific education beyond high school or an Associates degree in Radiologic Technology or closely related field and six to twelve months of previous work-related experience plus three months or less of on-the-job training and orientation.
Licensure: Certified with A.R.R.T. and or other related specialties. Indiana State Department of Health X-ray Machine Operator License. BLS and ACLS certification on hire or able to attain within 60 days
Skills: Strong communication attention to detail and ability to thrive in a team-oriented high-acuity setting.
