We are currently seeking a MRI Technologist in the Portland OR area.
Location:VA Portland Health Care System; Portland OR.
Hours:8 9 or 10 hour shifts.
Responsibilities:
- MRI Technologist operate a super conductive Magnetic Resonance Imager (MRI) a highly complex computerized imaging device which employs the use of strong magnetic fields and radio waves to acquire images of the entire body including the brain neck spine chest body and extremities.
- Shall have knowledge of professional care theories principles practices and procedures to serve Radiology patient population.
- Shall demonstrate knowledge of growth and development and basic knowledge of disease processes specific to VA patient population.
- Shall provide verifiable evidence of all educational and training experiences including any gaps in educational history upon request.
Qualifications:
- 2 years experience as an MRI Technologist.
- AHA BLS.
- ARRT (MR).
- Must commit to 6 months.
