About the Role
You will be working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. The Midwifery Unit Manager role is responsible for the operational management and leadership of Midwifery/Nursing staff to ensure the provision of high quality patient and family centred care and Midwifery and nursing excellence at unit/ward level.
The Midwifery Unit Manager Level2 responsibilities in relation to patient services ward or unit management and staff management are in excess of those of a Midwifery Unit Manager Level 1.

Ideal Candidate
- Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Proven clinical management & leadership experience in a tertiary/district health care facility.
- Experience in rostering; managing skill mix & care delivery models according to patient/service need.
- Advanced communication & negotiation skills & experience in conflict resolution.
