Join our growing Commercial Truck and Fleet division as a Commercial Account Manager an outside sales position focused on building long-term relationships and developing new business opportunities. We are looking for a driven professional who is not afraid to knock on doors cold call and think creatively to help businesses find the right commercial vehicle and upfit solutions. With multiple brands to sell across our automotive group and the support of our in-house upfit company youll have the tools needed to serve a wide variety of fleet and commercial clients.
Responsibilities
- Identify pursue and secure new commercial and fleet business through outside sales activity cold calling and in-person visits.
- Build and nurture strong long-term relationships with businesses municipalities and fleet decision-makers.
- Understand each customers operational needs and consultatively recommend vehicles and upfits that best support their business.
- Exhibit professional high-quality demonstrations of commercial vehicles.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings upfit options incentives and commercial programs across multiple automotive brands.
- Creatively problem-solve to generate new leads and uncover growth opportunities.
- Track sales activities progress business reviews and objectives.
- Bring a strong work ethic positive attitude and relationship-focused mindset every day.
Qualifications
- Proven outside sales experience required; commercial fleet or B2B sales experience strongly preferred.
- Previous experience working with fleet clients or business accounts is a plus.
- Willingness and confidence to cold call prospect and actively pursue new business.
- Excellent communication skills and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-motivated goal-oriented and comfortable working independently.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
