Job Summary
We are seeking a talented innovative Senior Mechanical Design Engineers to join our team in our Building Engineering practice. As a key member of our Building Services team you will be responsible for designing developing and improving mechanical systems and products that meet our clients needs and industry standards.
- Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
- Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
- Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
- Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.
- Oversee the integration of Building services designs with architectural and Structural elements for seamless project execution.
- Develop and implement project strategies ensuring alignment with client objectives and sustainability goals.
- Lead technical discussions with clients contractors and stakeholders addressing complex design challenges.
- Participate in the preparation of project proposals including technical write-ups and resource estimates.
- Ensure that all designs meet safety environmental and legal standards staying updated on evolving industry codes.
- Provides guidance to entry level engineers.
- Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related field masters degree preferred
- 5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
- Experience in Residential Retail or Hospitality projects
