Position Overview
A leading affordable housing services firm is seeking a detail-oriented Operations Manager to oversee daily business functions and ensure all affordable housing programs operate efficiently and in full regulatory compliance. This role manages project workflows from permitting through qualification supervises office staff and partners with developers municipal officials and state housing programs.
Key Responsibilities

Manage workflows for affordable housing projects including permitting coordination application setup lottery administration and applicant qualification.

Collaborate with developers municipal agencies and state housing authorities.

Direct day-to-day office operations to maintain an efficient organizational workflow.

Supervise and support two office staff members providing daily guidance and performance oversight.

Enhance internal systems and operational processes to improve efficiency.

Interpret and apply affordable housing regulations; ensure compliance with state and municipal requirements.

Maintain accurate documentation reporting and program record keeping.

Oversee ongoing monitoring of affordable rental units.

Support marketing initiatives for housing lotteries and compliance-related programs.

Provide timely professional communication to applicants clients and town officials.
Required Qualifications

5 years of experience in affordable housing real estate development property management or municipal government.

Supervisory or team leadership experience.

Strong organizational communication compliance and workflow management skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
