Basic Job Functions:
Responsibilities for the Material Handler Loader/Unloader include but are not limited to:
- Unload and receive all incoming materials into designated storage areas using forklifts and Combi-Lifts.
- Ensure all bundles of material are properly accounted for packagedidentified and staged for loading.
- Load all panel bundles and packaged accessories onto trailers.
- Inspect all materials for damage prior to loading and during load securement.
- Clean equipment as required and perform other duties as assigned.
- Willingness to cross-train inadditionalpositions andassistother teammates asneeded.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Mustpossessa valid forklift certification or be able to obtain certification within30 daysof hire.
- Ability to safelyoperateequipment under varying working conditions.
- Must be flexible to work extended hours or shifts asrequiredto meet business and customer needs including alternate shifts when necessary.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and coordinate tasks effectively.
- Reliable attendance and strong dependability are required. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Basic computerproficiency including experience with Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:
Experienceoperatingheavy equipment beyond standard warehouse forklifts.
Previousexperience in shipping and/or receiving in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge and experience using Carrier Point.
