Job Overview Shipping / Receiving Associate I
Pay Rate: $27.00XX. on w2
Schedule: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (Flexible start between 6:00 8:00 AM)
Interviews: Onsite
Role Summary:
Responsible for coordinating domestic and international shipments receiving materials processing purchase orders and maintaining accurate inventory records. Acts as a key point of contact between internal teams and external carriers while ensuring timely compliant and accurate shipment processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive unload inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders
- Process shipping and receiving transactions using SAP/ERP systems
- Prepare shipping documents (Transfer Orders Export Declarations LOIs)
- Move and deliver materials to warehouse and manufacturing areas
- Maintain clean safe and organized receiving dock
- Communicate shipment status discrepancies and issues to supervisors
- Coordinate with carriers and international teams as needed
- Follow BD safety EH&S and regulatory compliance requirements
- Operate forklift when required and lift up to 50 lbs
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required
- 2 3 years of shipping/receiving inventory or materials distribution experience
- Proficient in MS Excel Word and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Valid drivers license required
