Sports Coach Teaching Assistant

Youll support pupils in developing their sporting skills boosting their confidence and promoting their overall wellbeing through active learning.

Your opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a genuine passion for sport and childrens physical development. Working alongside the PE Coordinator you will support the delivery of high-quality coaching contribute to the PE curriculum and assist with a variety of extra-curricular sports activities. You will also lead engaging sports clubs for pupils from EYFS to Year 6 taking place during lunchtimes and after school.

What we are looking for

• Experience in coaching sports to children
• Sports qualification (desirable)
• Be able to develop positive relationships with young children
• Be enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team
• Be a confident and clear communicator
• Have GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above

The Details

Start Date:ASAP

FTE Salary: 27061 - 35984 (dependant on experience)

Pro Rata Salary: 18106.99 - 24077.53

Pay Range: GLF Specialist Grade

Hours:28hrs a week Tuesday Friday 8.00am - 3.30pm(Term time 39 weeks)

Closing Date:Monday 15th Decemberat 9.30am
