About the Role
Are you an experienced event and communications professional looking for a flexible freelance opportunity Were seeking a dynamic Senior Communications Manager to support our client working closely with EU Delegations on high-profile projects. This role combines event production and communications management (50/50 split) and requires adaptability resilience and strong client management skills.
This is not a traditional 9-to-5 positionits perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced international environment and can deliver under pressure. Occasional travel and coordination across time zones are part of the challengeand the excitement. This role will require 2 to 3 days of work per week.
Key Responsibilities
Event Production & Logistics
Organize press trips and events for EU Delegations.
Manage accommodation travel arrangements and on-site coordination.
Oversee event production including possible video production elements.
Communications & Client Management
Prepare offers and budgets.
Maintain and strengthen client relationships.
Coordinate implementation with partners and stakeholders.
Ensure high-quality delivery under tight timelines.
What Were Looking For
Proven experience in event production and communications (preferably international projects).
Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Strong client management and interpersonal skills.
Flexible schedule; willing to work outside standard office hours.
Familiarity with EU institutions (EEAS EUDEL INTPA FPI) or similar international projects is a plus.
Resilient and adaptable to challenges such as travel and time zone differences.
Video production knowledge is an advantage.
Ideal Background
Previous work with EU Delegations or international organizations.
Experience in corporate or brand events on a global scale.
