Job Duties:
Coordinates agency-wide recruiting efforts through career fairs internship and fellowship programs and targeted outreach activities.
Advises agency management of best method of filling vacancies and posts job vacancies on Louisiana Jobs.
Communicates periodically with Hiring Manager HR Manager and Liaison throughout the process to ensure accuracy of appointment(s).
Responsible for processing hiring personnel and pay-related actions for all assigned program offices in LaGov/HCM
Ensures that personnel and pay-related actions processed are in compliance with Civil Service rules and guidelines Federal and State laws and LDH polices.
Monitors various LaGov/HCM reports for discrepancies errors expirations and other inaccuracies.
Responsible for verifying calculations on pay changes relevant to the hiring and personnel actions and making corrections as needed.
