Cyber Systems Engineer, Senior Advisor

Peraton is seeking a System Engineer / Hardware Engineer to help shape design and evaluate the next generation of systems supporting critical networking this role youll have the opportunity to work across the full engineering lifecycleplanning researching architecting integrating and validating systemswhile partnering closely with Network Architects Systems Engineers Network Engineers and Server Administrators.

Youll play a key role in translating technical requirements into actionable designs and documentation ensuring solutions are resilient scalable and built to last. Your work will directly influence how infrastructure is deployed maintained and modernized across the enterprise.

What Youll Do:

• Lead and support technical planning system design integration verification cost/risk assessments and full lifecycle system analyses.

• Research emerging technologies gather and evaluate technical specifications and track component End of Sale / End of Support / End of Life timelines.

• Collaborate with vendorsrequesting reviewing and validating quotes technical specs and build documentation.

• Create maintain and manage detailed technical documents including network diagrams design drawings rack elevations cable run lists build guides and floor placement layouts.

• Develop power space and cooling requirements; generate procurement and integration plans.

• Provide redlines and feedback on drawing packages ensuring accuracy and alignment with engineering standards.

• Build and validate Cable BOMs for manufacturers and vendors ensuring completeness and accuracy.

• Twenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity
  is required.
• Bachelors degree in system engineering Computer Science Information Systems Engineering Science
  Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five
  (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph required
