Outside Sales Representative

The Dealer Sales Rep is an outside sales role tasked to develop maintain and grow relationships with customers. Owns the dealer relationship and buyer relationship with key customers in a defined Distribution Center market the Greater Houston area. Works independently and is self-directed while still operating as part of an integrated local sales team focused on delivering value to customers and achieving sales and margin growth expectations. Applies experience to drive growth in scale (i.e. customer base broader market coverage). Ensures superior value is delivered to customers in support of primary demand efforts. Responsible for promoting and selling Distributions full range of products including engineered wood commodities and specialty building products.

Key Functions:

• Establishes cultivates and protects the dealer relationship and buyer relationship with key customers typically those greater in size and complexity.

• Strategies in support of delivering superior value to customers and growing wallet-share and profitability.

• Uses market knowledge relationships and to seek out opportunities with new and existing customers for Distributions full range of products.

• Gathers market intelligence and translates it into valuable input to drive decisions around product mix pricing inventory levels and demand outlook. Uses that input to help drive decision-making.

• Develops and executes marketing and communication plans with customers including promotions specials market pull through activities and updates to products/pricing/service.

What We Offer:

Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program and we are targeting a salary range of $81313 - $121970 based on your level of skills qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Sales Incentive Program which offers a quarterly cash bonus.

Paid Time Off or Vacation:We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of addition after being employed for six months eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year providing a total of 88 holiday hours and paid parental leave for all full-time employees.
