Job Summary
Position Title: Travel PACU Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Falmouth MA 02540
Job Type: Contract
Shift: Day 58-hour shifts
Travel Pay Range: $70$75/hr
Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced TravelPACU RN to deliver safe high-quality post-anesthesia and post-operative care. This role includes monitoring patient recovery managing medications documenting care and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Strong critical-care skills and a focus on patient safety are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive post-anesthesia and post-op nursing care
Monitor vital signs recovery status and respond to changes promptly
Document all assessments and interventions accurately and timely
Update individualized care plans
Communicate effectively with physicians and care team members
Serve as Charge Nurse when needed
Adhere to all safety and infection control standards
Support orientation and training of nursing staff
Participate in required meetings and ongoing education
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Active Massachusetts RN license
Current BLS ACLS and PALS certifications
Skills in IV starts hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator care
Minimum 1 year of recent ICU CVICU ER CVPA or SDC/PACU experience (within the last 5 years)
Ability to participate in on-call rotations
Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
BSN
Recent PACU or Same Day Care experience (within the last 5 years)
