Position Title: Travel RN Labor & Delivery
Location: Hyannis MA 02601
Job Type: Contract
Shift: Nights 312-hour shifts
Travel Pay Range: $65$70/hour

Position Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Travel RN Labor & Deliveryfor an exciting job in Hyannis MA.

Responsibilities

Deliver safe evidence-based nursing care for laboring antepartum and postpartum patients.
Perform and document comprehensive physical psychological and social assessments from admission through discharge.
Develop and implement individualized care plans and communicate critical information to the care team.
Monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing and respond promptly to changes in patient status.
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and facility protocols.
Maintain accurate timely and compliant documentation using electronic health record systems.
Serve as a resource for patient care staff orientation and ongoing training.
Support Charge Nurse duties as needed.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and monitor key clinical indicators.
Adhere to all safety infection control and blood/body fluid handling standards.
Maintain clinical competency through ongoing education and awareness of current perinatal best practices.
Uphold professionalism confidentiality and service excellence in all patient and team interactions.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
Active Massachusetts RN license.
BLS ACLS and NRP certifications.
Recent Labor & Delivery/OB experience (within the last 2 years).
Completion of an Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring course within the last 2 years.
Successful completion of facility-specific pharmacology requirements.
Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English.

Preferred:

CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification.
