Delivery Director

The Delivery Director sets the vision and aligns strategies with the overall company goals. They assess risks mitigating where necessary. They influence decisions and ensure efficiencies are maintained to allow delivery of services to our customers and partners. The Delivery Director strives to ensure global consistency in ways of working as well as market unit alignment and meeting performance objectives for their relevant practice. 
The Delivery Director also takes on the role of Delivery Sponsor for Implementation upgrade success and D2D engagements. The Delivery Director should foster good proactive relationships with stakeholders across IFS and their peers across practices within Global Delivery.

Essential Duties and Accountabilities
As  a  Delivery Director you will be responsible for core activities including but not limited to:

• Define and lead strategic delivery process improvements aligned with organizational goals.
• Act as a change agent to eliminate structural inefficiencies and improve global delivery models.
• Set strategy for global resource mix to support margin improvement and scalability.
• Institutionalize best practices into repeatable offerings for the services portfolio.
• Build alignment across Delivery Market Units and executive stakeholders for transformation initiatives.
• Lead delivery sponsorships at the C-suite level to strengthen strategic relationships.
• Ensure customer success plans are integrated into delivery frameworks and execution.
• Govern risk management practices and drive accountability across regions and teams.
• Integrate forecasting insights from Pre-Sales and CSP functions into strategic workforce planning.
• Govern the application of global professional practices that support lifecycle engagement and delivery excellence.
• Promote innovation by integrating modern industry practices into delivery methodologies.
• Strategically balance expertise across the organization to support high-impact delivery.
• Ensure cross-regional compliance with IFS codes of conduct data governance and security policies.

Additionally a Delivery Director;

• Recognized as an authority in focused solution areas with a deep understanding of customer business models.
• Provides strategic guidance based on expert knowledge of target industries and customer needs.
• Shapes delivery strategies by interpreting major market and technology shifts.
• Orchestrates complex delivery operations and cross-regional coordination at scale.
• Leads forecasting and long-term planning to align delivery capacity with business growth.
• Influences at senior levels through persuasive communication and high-impact presentations.
• Inspires and drives leadership culture across delivery functions.
• Builds strategic networks with internal and external stakeholders to drive influence and innovation.

Qualifications :

Essential:

• University degree or equivalent professional qualifications in a field relevant for the technical and/or functional area or responsibility.
• Used to prioritizing and take decisions.

Desirable:

• Good understanding of one or more of our target industries and domain product /technology offerings as well as the business application processes for our target customers.
• Experience from relevant industries and markets which are used to interaction with customers and partners
• Experience in customer facing roles.
