Junior Sales Engineer
Altera Recruitment Group is representing a global organisation within thesustainable energy and power generationsector in their search for aJunior Sales Engineerbased inStafford.
The successful Sales Engineer will play a key role in developing new business opportunities across renewable and natural gas markets supporting the full sales cycle and contributing to the companys long-term commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities of a Junior Sales Engineer:
- Support the management of the complete sales process from prospecting through to contract negotiation and close.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across key markets including biomethane biogas and natural gas sectors.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prepare commercial proposals tailored to customer requirements.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential projects to achieve short- and mid-term sales targets.
- Represent the company at industry events trade fairs and networking opportunities to strengthen market presence and relationships.
Candidate Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Electrical or Energy Engineering (or related discipline).
- 12 years of experience in technical sales within the energy cogeneration or renewable sector.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proactive results-driven and adaptable with a passion for sustainable technologies.
- Willingness to travel as required across the UK and occasionally abroad.

- Salary Range:per annum depending on experience and suitability.

- Bonus Structure:To be included and refined based on experience potentially sales-based for commercially focused profiles or linked to non-sales KPIs for more technical candidates.
