Position Summary:
The Medical Assistant provides essential clinical and administrative support to ensure smooth clinic operations and high-quality patient care. This role involves working closely with healthcare providers to deliver compassionate efficient service to a diverse patient population while maintaining strong clinical skills and operational accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage patient flow throughout the clinic
Assist providers with patient care and treatment activities
Perform clinical and clerical tasks to support efficient operations
Administer immunizations injections and medications as directed
Collect laboratory specimens as needed
Provide telephone support and facilitate communication between patients and providers
Assist with prescription refills and perform x-ray duties when qualified
Provide front desk and check-in support
Order stock and manage clinic supplies
Maintain and update skill proficiency learning new skills as required
Travel:
Local travel using personal vehicle may be required for Occupational Medicine assignments
Required Qualifications & Skills:
High School diploma or GED
Active BLS certification (ARC BLS or AHA BLS)
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in Minnesota
Strong communication and patient support skills
Ability to multitask in a clinical environment

Compensation:
Estimated $22.23 per hour
