Description
This on-site contract position offers a unique opportunity for medical professionals to provide exceptional care in a dynamic medical practice environment.
As a Locum MD in Anesthesiology you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and comfort of patients undergoing surgical procedures. You will collaborate with surgeons nurses and other medical staff to deliver high-quality anesthetic care tailored to each patients needs. This role not only emphasizes clinical expertise but also provides a chance to contribute to the overall patient experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthetics and monitor patients during surgical procedures
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and consultations
- Collaborate with surgical teams to develop and implement anesthetic plans
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process
- Manage post-anesthesia recovery and evaluate patients responses
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding anesthesia
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Stay updated on advancements in anesthesiology practices and technologies
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with a focus on Anesthesiology
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Lawton
- Experience in anesthesia administration and patient monitoring
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures and anesthetic techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7a-3p
No call requirement
Daily volume: 4 patients
Board certification required
